Financial Portfolio Management System (FPM) has remained in the cutting edge of technology since its first release in 1987. The present version runs on Windows Server 2008 / Windows XP / 7 platforms. FPM has a wide range of integrated modular functions which can be used in any combination. The modular architecture allows a smooth growth path.
FPM Back Office
Back Office Module provides the foundation on which all FPM Modules are integrated. FPM can handle all types of instruments including bonds, derivatives, time deposits and of course equities. FPM has powerful cash management functions integrated with trading and general ledger transactions. Projected cash balances can be viewed in real time enabling the users to keep a close watch on liquidity at pre-trade stage.
Order Management
FPM Order Management integrates with the Compliance and Back Office Modules. The Order Management Module provides on-line access to client positions and limits. Deals are verified to be compliant with client mandates at pre-order stage. Allocated deals are automatically sent to the back office.
Compliance
Compliance Module allows users to define a flexible range of compliance rules for monitoring client and investment policy mandates. The Compliance Module is normally used in conjunction with the Order Management Module to warn the user about breaches prior to trade entry.
Performance Measurement & Attribution
General Ledger
The General Ledger Module provides multi-currency / multi-instrument accounting functionality. The GL Module reads the transaction files maintained by the Back Office. Financial reports are produced from the transaction database automatically by means of a combination of user defined journals and system journals. FPM GL Module can be integrated with external GL systems.
Client Relationship Management
CRM Module comprises a number of functions that enables pro-active management of client portfolios. Client investment guidelines can be captured in conjunction with the Compliance Module and pre-trade warnings are given in case of breach. Management fees and trade commissions can be computed. Client Report Books can be printed automatically at required intervals. You can deliver reports to your clients electronically by means of webFPM.
Market Data Interface
Interfaces are available to a number of data feed providers including Bloomberg Data License and FT Select. The selection of service is left to the user but the common objective of the interface is to download prices, exchange rates and corporate actions into the FPM database. The frequency of the update and the delivery method depends on the particular service.
FPM provides a fully automated interface to Bloomberg Data License. With this service, any data item can be downloaded for any international security including Daily and Historical Prices, Exchange Rates, Indices, Corporate Actions and Dividends.
Custodian Interface
FPM outputs a SWIFT format trade settlement message file. The module can be customised easily for an STP interface with your preferred custodian bank(s).
webFPM
With webFPM, your clients may view and/or download their reports on-line from the Internet. Reports can be published automatically through FPM's Report Scheduler function.
cloudFPM
cloudFPM provides full Internet connectivity to the FPM system via a thin client platform (eg through Windows Terminal Services). FPM application can be hosted on your own remote server or on a service provider such as
